I recommend putting your atomic unit BETWEEN your WET and DRY effects pedals. With this setup you’re simulating an amp’s effects loop, or more accurately, adding the effects to the mic’d signal from a cab using a DAW. This has several advantages:
You can crank up the drive on the amp without your wet effects turning to mud like they would if you ran them into the front of the AmpliFIRE (or a real amp).
You can optionally run stereo out of your wet effects into two DIs to FOH. This way you get a huge stereo spread in your IEMs, and the audience gets the full sound of your amp model, instead of just half of it like they would if you used two different clean amps at the end of your chain.
Once you purchase a preset, I would duplicate it, and turn up/down the gain on the second, then use the two presets together in A/B mode. That way you can swap between a cleanish and cranked preset.

Open the editor for your Atomic AmpliFIRE unit
Switch to a preset you’d like to overwrite
Click File > Import Preset
Select the clean preset and click “Open”
Refer to the manual page 20 for instructions on enabling these two presets for A/B mode on the AFB
