Firmware 21.00 or later required. This is my go-to preset on the Axe-FX III. It has a high powered 59’ Twin Reverb and AC30 in stereo, along with several drives, delays, reverbs, chorus, tremolo, and a stereo widener.

Per preset footswitch overrides in FC-12 view #8:

1. Amp Drive (stage 1)

2. Prince of Tone (stage 2 or 1 for lighter drive tones than the amp drive switch)

   1. HOLD to switch to a Prince of Tone with more drive

3. “Klon” (stage 2 or 3)

   1. HOLD to switch to a fuzz

4. Post-amp Clean Boost

5. Reverb channel decrement

   1. HOLD to increment. Channel D is huge, use for ambient swells, etc.

6. Chorus

   1. HOLD for vibrato

7. Single Coil / Humbucker footswitch. LED off is for single coils, LED on is for humbuckers

   1. HOLD to toggle between channels A+B. A is lighter compression, B is much heavier compression, good for P&W cleans

8. DM-2 (light 1/4 note delay)

9. 1/8 delay

10. Dotted 8th delay

11. Tremolo

    1. HOLD for a deeper and faster tremolo

12. Octave up

    1. HOLD to cycle through channels A-C, octave up, octave down, and virtual capo

The input is set to Input 1, the output is set to output 1.

Please use the PER PRESET footswitch layout to access all the per preset footswitch assignments.

This preset is configured to work with the Fractal FC12 controller, but all the important gain staging will be present on the FC6 as well.

Mono users: This preset has a massive stereo image but is mono-compatible, just bypass the Enhancer block. In order to get the sound of both amps to FOH, in your global settings navigate to I/O > Audio Tab > “Output 1 Configuration” > Mode, and set it to “SUM L+R”.
