Helix Marshall Plexi v2
This is my "rock" preset. As you can hear from the demos, it works for all kinds of rock tones and works well with a wide variety of guitars.
For most of your sounds, you’ll use it in stomp mode on Snapshot 1 .
Snapshots:
Pedalboard - For most of your general rock sounds, you’ll stay in stomp mode on Snapshot 1 .
EVH - High gain, bright rock tone with a big plate reverb
AC/DC - Lower gain, darker rock tone
Killin Solo - High gain, whammy w/ +24 at full toe position for the solo in Rage Against the Machine’s “Killing In the Name.”
Solo - High gain, loud, quarter note delay

Ambient - several delays and a big reverb sound for clean ambient parts
Stomps:
Eb Tuning - hit this switch to instantly tune your guitar down a half step
Off Hum / On Sng - adjusts some settings for single coils and humbuckers. LED off is for humbuckers, LED on is for single coils
Quarter Delay - dark analog delay set at 1/4 notes
Dotted 8th delay
Vibrato

“More” - designed to add gain, and roll off a small amount of lows and highs

Plate Reverb mix and decay up/down
Recommended IR: Impulse respones are not necessary to get good tones. All demos on this page were tracked with stock cabs. But if you’d like to use IRs, the IR I recommend is OH 412 MRBW M75-GNR.wav from the Ownhammer (r)Evolution bundle. To try the IR, replace the cab block with a 1024-sample IR block and select the IR recommended above. Leave all the IR settings on their defaults.
