Axe-FX III - Bethel-inspired preset
Axe-FX III - Bethel-inspired preset
This preset seeks to recreate the guitar tones on the last few Bethel music records. An AC30 and Deluxe Reverb in stereo create massive stereo tones, plus several gain stages, a few delays, reverbs, and a chorus.
This preset comes with the following per-preset footswitch assignments on Layout 8:
Amp drive up/down
Prince of Tone overdrive. This can be used into the amps on their clean setting for slight breakup, or in conjunction with the amp drive switch for smaller leads.
RAT overdrive. Really cuts for big leads.
Post-amp clean boost
“Reverb -/+” - Toggles the mix and decay of the Plate and Cloud reverb up and down
Tap Tempo / Tuner
Chorus on/off
unused
1/8th note delay
Dotted 8th note delay
unused
Scenes:
Pedalboard - this is where I recommend spending the majority of your time unless you plan to build scenes for each part of a song
Clean Dotted 8th
Clean 1/8th
Clean Chorus
Crunch Dotted 8th
Lead Dotted 8th
Big Lead Dotted 8th
Swells
Mono users: This preset has a massive stereo image but is mono-compatible. In order to get the sound of both amps to FOH, in your global settings navigate to I/O > Audio Tab > “Output 1 Configuration” > Mode, and set it to “SUM L+R”. When running mono with SUM L+R, I recommend disabling the enhancer block.
